Cydia Is Now Saving iOS 5.0.1 SHSH Blobs For Untethered Jailbreak

Some great news for you jailbreakers; Saurik, Cydia’s founder, has recently started caching SHSH blobs for 5.0.1. We have been tipped off about this but I was not sure of this first until I saw 5.0.1 signatures are indeed present.
 
For those of you who don’t have a clue of SHSH blobs, they are signature files which are verified against Apple servers to ensure the latest firmware is running on the device. The main purpose is to allow users to restore to an older iOS version by downgrading the firmware.

i4Siri: Legal Siri Port On iPhone 4 In Works

The project i4siri is going to bring Siri to older devices running iOS 5 through some Cydia tweaks and utilities. These devices include iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. Other devices will be supported later. Theoretically, it can be used on iPhone 3GS but no confirmations yet.
